Fudge Chocolate Brownie Date Balls

These make great mid day snacks or a healthy after dinner treat. I kid you not, they taste like a brownie. If you don't believe me, make them for yourself and you will see!


INGREDIENTS:

1/3 cup Walnuts

1 and 1/3 cup pitted dates

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 tbsp cocoa powder

optional, but suggested: Peanut Butter


METHOD:

  1. soak dates in water until soft, about 20 minutes or so.

  2. Add all ingredients to a food processor until a ball forms.

  3. Option to put a small dollop of peanut butter inside the ball by flattening the scoop of “dough” and then folding all the sides over the peanut butter, roll into a ball to smooth it over.

  4. Add whatever add ins you would like, coconut, chocolate chips, etc.

  5. Roll into balls and store them in the freezer
